Why is the working-day count lower than the date range?

Weekends, non-working weekdays and public holidays for the employee’s country are excluded. Half days count as 0.5.

Who receives my request?

Your direct manager first. If none is set, the approver for your office. If neither exists, a superadmin receives it.

Can colleagues see why I am away?

No. Regular employees see your name and approved dates on the team calendar. Leave type, note, document and decision history stay private.

What happens when I change approved leave?

You submit an amendment. The original booking stays approved until an approver accepts the new dates.

Why does my leave year not end in December?

Your country may use an employment-anniversary leave year. The reset date then follows your start date rather than the calendar year.

Does work from home reduce annual leave?

Only when your company configures that leave type to deduct from an allowance. In the standard setup it is tracked but unlimited.

Can I cancel approved leave?

Yes. Cancelling removes it from the calendar, restores any deducted days and notifies the approver.

What is the difference between deactivation and blocked sign-in?

Deactivation means the person is no longer active staff. Blocking sign-in keeps them active in headcount and leave records but prevents account access.

Does the public demo send email?

No. The demo contains no email delivery credentials. In-app notifications still work, and the workspace resets every night.
