Time Off has four permission levels. A person’s job title is separate from their permission role.
Member
A member manages their own leave. They can view their dashboard, submit or amend requests, cancel approved leave, log a late arrival and see the shared team calendar.
Office manager
An office manager has member access plus approvals and reports for the people routed to them. Routing comes from a person’s direct manager first, then the default approver for their office.
Admin
An admin manages and approves the people in their scope. They can enter leave on someone else’s behalf and update employee details. They do not control company-wide leave policy.
Superadmin
A superadmin has company-wide access. They manage all employees, offices, countries, leave types, holidays, calendar visibility, roles and the activity log. They can also act as another employee to check that person’s exact view.
Keep the superadmin role limited. It includes company-wide policy changes and access to private employee records.
